Battleship Mountain - Superstition Mountains

I began my hike at 8:13 AM at First Water Trailhead. It then took me 40 minutes to reach the junction of the Black Mesa Trail. Then at 9:41 AM, I arrived at  Boulder Canyon. From there I followed the Boulder Canyon Trail to the junction of a trail heading up Battleship Mountain. It had taken me 2 hours and 17 minutes to get there. At 12:16 PM, I arrived at the 2,797-foot summit. It had taken me 4 hours and 3 minutes. I headed back down at 12:52 PM. I reached Second Water Trail at 2:55 PM. Then I arrived at my car at 4:25 PM. My hike was 11.8 miles round-trip, and it took me 8 hours and 11 minutes.

Ittindi Rock - Canyon Lake

My 2 mile round-trip hike. The westernmost cliff was struck by lightning in 1898 and left a very visible mark. Thus, the name "Ittindi", the Apache word for lightning was applied to the feature.

Our 1.8 mile loop hike going counter clockwise. It took us 1 hour and 55 minutes.

I started my hike at 10:06 AM. It took me 19 minutes to reach the ridgeline. I finished the loop at 12:10 PM. My loop hike was 2.1 miles.
