Turk's Head is a ramp shaped peak with a 2,822 foot summit, south of the Superstition Mountains. I started my hike from the Hieroglyphic Trailhead. My hike was 5.4 miles round-trip, and it took me 3 hours and 8 minutes. This was my fourth time I had hiked up Turk's Head.
I hiked up to the 1,665-foot summit of Klothos Temple in the Muggins Mountain Wilderness. It is located about 25 miles east of Yuma. On my first attempt at hiking up Klothos Temple I had turned around because of exhaustion. But this time I conquered the mountain and reached the summit. I began my hike at about 290 elevation, and the ascent was about 1,371 feet. My hike was 5.9 miles round trip, and it took me 5 hours and 12 minutes.

I hiked the Bluff Spring Trail until I came to a location suitable for scrambling up the ridge on the east side of the trail. After a steep hike up, I then headed to an unnamed peak I wanted to climb. After that I headed east on the ridgeline until I came to the Dutchman's Trail, and followed that back to my car at the Peralta Trailhead. My loop hike was 8.8 miles, and it took me 5 hours and 58 minutes.
