Buddy Guy

Me and Buddy Guy at Legends
Buddy Guy is an exponent of Chicago Blues and has influenced many guitarist like Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, and Keith Richards. Guy was ranked 23rd in Rolling Stone's magazine 100 greatest guitarists of all time, but I think he should be in the top 10.

David "Honeyboy" Edwards

Me and David "Honeyboy" Edwards
At the age of 14, David "Honeyboy" Edwards left home to travel with the bluesman Big Joe Williams, through the 1930s and 1940s. He also performed with the famed blues musician Robert Johnson with whom he developed a close friendship, and he was present on the night Johnson drank the poisoned whiskey that killed him. In 2011 Edwards was presented with a Grammy, Lifetime Achievement Award. This photo was taken at the Juke Joint Festival in Clarksdale, Mississippi, on April 16, 2011, and Edwards died 4 months later at home in Chicago at age 96. He was amazing on the electric guitar performing at the Juke Joint Festival.

Me and T-Model Ford
T-Model Ford's music combined the rawness of Delta Blues and old school blues. He recorded 7 albums. He died on July 16, 2013. Ford claimed to be 93, though the Associated Press reports that he didn’t recall what year he was born and may have been 89. The photo was taken at the Juke Joint Festival in Clarksdale, Mississippi, on April 16, 2011.

Rosie Flores

Me and Rosie Flores
Rosie Flores's self-titled solo debut came out in 1987. The single, “Crying Over You”, put her on the Billboard charts for the first time. Her music blends rockabilly, honky tonk, jazz, and western swing.
