Pass Mountain - Tonto National Forest

I hiked up Pass Mountain from the parking area on North Usery Pass Road. From there it was a 21 minute hike to the junction of the loop trail. The trail keeps heading up the mountain at the junction. Going to the summit was 3.8 miles round trip. When I stood on the summit it had taken me 1 hour and 18 minutes from my car. The elevation gain was 1,160 feet from the road. This was my third time on the summit. It took me an hour to get back to my car.

The Little Four Peaks - Tonto National Forest

The Little Four Peaks are right off of AZ 88. When you drive down the highway they align with The Four Peaks. The first time I hiked this loop was on February 23, 2021. I followed a faint social trail that was often marked with rock cairns. It took me a half hour to reach crest of the ridge. My entire late afternoon hike was a 1.9 mile loop, and took me 1 hour and 48 minutes.
