I did a 4.6 mile hike into the Goldfield Mountains from the Willow Springs Trailhead on AZ 88 at milepost 204. I wanted to climb up an unnamed peak I had seen a few weeks ago. So I left the main trail and scrambled to the top. On the way up I fell and banged up my elbow too. Got a nice 4 inch, bloody scrape. Took me about 90 minutes to find a way up, but only about a half hour to get back down to the main trail. I found a much easier way down.
