Eagle Bend - Superstition Mountains

The terrain surrounding Black Cross Butte is spectacular. This time I hiked out to an overlook of the Salt River called Eagle Bend. My hike was 3.7 miles round-trip, and it took me 4 hours and 28 minutes.

Turk's Head - Superstition Mountains

Turk's Head is a ramp shaped peak with a 2,822 foot summit, south of the Superstition Mountains. I started my hike from the Hieroglyphic Trailhead. My hike was 5.3 miles round-trip, and it took me 3 hours and 50 minutes. This was my third time I had hiked up Turk's Head.

Mesquite Flat - Tonto National Forest

Mesquite Flat is a short distance past Tortilla Flat. My hike on the conglomerate sandstone was 3.4 miles round-trip, and it took me 3 hours.
