Mushroom Rock - Sedona, AZ

I began hiking at 7am to the Mushroom Rock and beyond located in Boynton Canyon. Then I followed the social trail to the overlook. It was 6.8 miles round trip with 1,200 feet of elevation gain. I finished at 1pm and it was hot.

Dreamspeaker Cave - Sedona, AZ

At 7am, I hiked into Boynton Canyon in Sedona, to find the Dreamspeaker Cave Ruins. I left the main trail where a social trail heads to The Subway. After a short distance I headed up a gully on my left. Once I had reached the wide sandstone bench I headed in the direction of the Dreamspeaker Cave. My round trip hike was 7 miles and took me 5.5 hours.

Bear Mountain - Sedona, AZ

At 6:10am, I hiked up Bear Mountain on the maintained trail. After reaching the false summit where the trail ends I attempted to hike over to East Bear Mountain. I had read about a route, and so I gave it a try. However, the brush became very dense, and my legs were covered in scratches and dried blood. So after looking at my wounded legs I decided it was a good time to give up. My entire hike was 5.7 miles round trip, and took me 5 hours and 30 minutes. The elevation gain is 2,024 feet.
