The Painted Desert - Petrified Forest National Park

I hiked a loop of 11.8 miles in the Painted Desert at Petrified Forest National Park. It took me 6 hours and 13 minutes. So much fun to wander about in the Painted Desert.

Holbrook BLM - Arizona

I camped for 2 nights here. This location is about 5 miles south of Holbrook.

 

Bulldog Saddle and Pass Mountain Loop - Tonto National Forest

This morning, I did the Bulldog Saddle and Pass Mountain Loop in the Goldfield Mountains. My hike was 4.8 miles, and it took me 2 hours and 40 minutes.

Black Cross Butte - Superstition Mountains

The loop trail that I took to the top of Black Cross Butte was 2 miles, and took me 2 hours and 21 minutes. The summit is 3,351 feet.

Sunrise Peak - McDowell Mountains

This afternoon, I began my hike on the Sunrise Trail in Fountain Hills at 12:22 pm. It was 92 degrees. It took me 1 hour and 40 minutes to reach the 3,069-foot summit, and about 1 hour to get back. My hike was 3.8 miles round-trip, and took me 2 hours and 55 minutes. The ascent was 1,093 feet.
