Weaver's Needle Loop - Superstition Mountains

I did a loop hike to the base of Weaver's Needle. I began by taking the Bluff Spring Trail 2.4 miles to the Terrapin Trail. That took 1 hour and 20 minutes. Next I followed that trail 1.2 miles, and that took 38 minutes. Then I took a 1.1 mile trail that crossed over to Peralta Canyon at the base of Weaver's Needle. At the Peralta Canyon Trail I hiked 3.6 miles back to my van. The entire hike was a 7.9 mile loop, and it took me 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Superstition Peak 5057 - Superstition Mountains

Superstition Peak is the highest peak on the Superstition Ridgeline. This was my second time going up the South Ascent from the Hieroglyphic Trail. Very few people go up this rugged, class 3 trail to the summit. My round-trip hike was 6.2 miles, and it took me 6 hours and 20 minutes with about 2,900 feet of elevation gain.
