Pass Mountain Loop Trail - Goldfield Mountains

At 11:18 AM, I started my hike around Pass Mountain from the Meridian Trailhead. My first break was in Usery Mountain Regional Park. The shelter and picnic table was 2.4 miles from Meridian Road, and it took me 52 minutes. After 2 hours and 43 minutes I reached the junction of the Bulldog Saddle Trail, and continued on the Pass Mountain Trail. It was 6.1 miles to the junction. I got back at my vehicle at 2:51 PM. My hike was 8.1 miles, and it took me 3 hours and 32 minutes.

Temptation Peak Loop - Goldfield Mountains

This was my third time to the 3,195-foot summit of Temptation Peak. But this was my first time hiking this as a loop. I went counter clockwise hiking south to north on the Ironwood Ridgeline. Once on the ridgeline the route required boulder hopping, scrambling, and a few down climbs. I began my hike at the Meridian Trailhead at 10:38 AM. It was 2.1 miles to the saddle on the ridgeline, which took me 1 hour and 10 minutes. After a short break I began hiking again at 12:01 PM. At 12:55 PM I reached the summit. I was 2.9 miles from the trailhead, and it had taken me 2 hours and 17 minutes. At 1:07 PM, I descended the peak, and I resumed hiking north on the ridge. I reached the most northern peak at 1:40 PM. From there I followed a trail down to the Bulldog Saddle Trail. Then it was an easy hike back to my vehicle. My hike was 4.8 miles, and it took me 4 hours and 8 minutes.

Mine Trail and Sunset Ridge Trail - Usery Mountains

I followed the Mine Trail to Sunset Ridge Trail, and hiked that to the saddle below Peak 2541. It had taken me 1 hour to reach the saddle, and I was 2.3 miles from the trailhead.  Since the winds were gusting up to about 35 mph, I turned back here and quickly made my way back to my vehicle. My hike was 4.5 miles round-trip, and it took me 1 hour and 50 minutes. The ascent was 1,136 feet.
