Snoopy Rock - Sedona, AZ

I followed a social trail up to Snoopy Rock in Sedona. I started at 8:47am. It was 2.3 miles round trip and took 2.5 hours with 500 feet of elevation gain. The best part was climbing the rock fin.

Grandmother's and Grandfather's Cave - Sedona, AZ

I hiked and climbed up the east side of Boynton Canyon. I followed a social trail most of the way. My hike was 5.4 miles round trip, and took me 4.5 hours. I saw many Sinagua cliff dwellings. I started this his hike at 8:18am, and I finished at 12:46pm when it was 100 degrees.

Fay Canyon - Sedona, AZ

I did a 3.7 mile loop hike in Fay Canyon. I began by ascending a break in the cliffs in the east fork, and then traversed the upper sandstone bench, and came down in the west fork, at the end of the box canyon. It took me 3 hours from the parking lot. To reach the sandstone bench took me about 90 minutes, and is about 1.6 miles from the parking lot. I started the hike at 8:23am.

 

Deadman's Pass - Sedona, AZ

I did a 3.5 mile, morning hike in Sedona, between Deadman's Pocket and Boynton Canyon. There was a social trail, which I sometimes lost. It took me 3.5 hours.
