I hiked the Bluff Spring Trail until I came to a location suitable for scrambling up the ridge on the east side of the trail. After a steep hike up, I then headed to an unnamed peak I wanted to climb. After that I headed east on the ridgeline until I came to the Dutchman's Trail, and followed that back to my car at the Peralta Trailhead. My loop hike was 8.8 miles, and it took me 5 hours and 58 minutes.
After a Thanksgiving dinner with my sister Debbie, and her husband Denny, my sister and I went for a wonderful hike. Our hike was 1 mile round trip, and took us 2 hours and 13 minutes. We spent a lot of time scrambling up rock and exploring.
I hiked up this unnamed peak for the second time. I followed a social trail to the top that was mostly easy to follow. My round trip hike was 3.1 miles, and it took me 3 hours and 43 minutes.
