The Subway - Sedona, Arizona

I hiked out to The Subway in Sedona. I finally figured out where it was. It's not on any trail maps but there is an overgrown trail that leads out there, and it is easy to find once you know where to go. However, there are many social trails, and I made one wrong turn but quickly realized my error. It's about 6 miles round trip with an elevation gain of about 800 feet.

The route to The Subway is located at the 2 mile point on the Boynton Canyon Trail. A large Alligator Juniper tree on the left side of the trail is a landmark for the unsigned junction. From here it is about 0.4 miles to The Subway depending on which social trail you use.

I brought my tripod and photographed me.

Sinagua ruins.
