Saddle Mountain - Tonopah, Arizona

This was my third time to the 3,037 foot summit of Saddle Mountain. The mountain is a "volcanic upthrust", and is composed of tuff and rhyolite. The climb is short at 1.4 miles to the summit, but the gain is 1,558 feet. I hiked from where I parked my car which was farther from the trailhead. From there it was 3.8 miles round-trip, and it took me 4 hours and 32 minutes.
