I started my hike at 9:12 AM. The junction of the Hieroglyphic Trail and the trail to Superstition Peak was a 1.5 mile hike, and it took me 34 minutes. From here I followed the trail 0.3 miles to the Balanced Rock. I arrived there at 10:28 AM. Then it was a 1.3 mile hike to the 5,057-foot summit. It had taken me 3 hours and 9 minutes to reach the top from the trailhead. From the summit, I hiked the Superstition Ridgeline Trail to the Hieroglyphic Trail. That was 0.9 miles, and it took me 1 hour and 7 minutes. At 1:44 PM, I was at the Hieroglyphic Trail. After hiking 1.5 miles I reached the junction of the trail going up towards Balanced Rock at 3:23 PM. Then finally I was back at the trailhead at 4:06 PM. My 7 mile loop hike had taken me 6 hours and 51 minutes.
