I started my hike at 2:30 PM, because I was going to the Central Arizona Grotto meeting in the evening. It took me 53 minutes to reach the 2,610-foot summit which was 1.2 miles from my car. On my way down it took me 50 minutes. I finished at 4:43 PM. The mountain is primarily composed of schist, quartzite, and quartz.
