I started my hike up Romero Canyon at 8:44 AM. After hiking 2.7 miles I reached the Romero Pools at 10:14 AM. Then it took me 4 hours and 47 minutes from the trailhead to reach Romero Pass at 6,050 feet elevation. I arrived at the pass at 1:32 PM. After taking a break I headed back at 1:53 PM. Then I was back at my car at 5:51 PM. My hike was 14.1 miles round-trip, and it took me 9 hours and 6 minutes.
