On my way to the library in Camp Verde this morning I noticed the dramatic clouds so I stopped at Sunset Point Rest Area off I-17. At 3,409 feet, it provides a sweeping view of the Bradshaw Mountains rising above the semi-desert grasslands. There is also some interesting geology going on here of a compound landslide. The largest landslide you will encounter along I-17.
